(North Truro, MA) – Tuesday brought its share of activities with an early morning visit from Jim’s family (grandmother, Aunts) who were also staying down the road in Truro.  The boat had a radio problem that John took on.  Then John got Jim, Kris, Ella and Kenzie out in the boat while Gin and Tom tackled clamming (4 total).  The girls flew some kites in the high winds. It was lobster night with 4 and 5 pounders and Dan joined the crew for a bite as well.

(North Truro MA) – Good weather returned on Monday and after the morning fog burned off the crew was able to do various things.  Jen, Kristin, Peg and Gin brought in 7 clams from the bay.  John got the boat going and he and Jim caught some fluke.  But the big catch of the day was a squid by Ella. Jim got a lesson in how to clean a fish from Kristin and Jen got some boat driving practice.   In the evening Ginny’s pulled pork dinner was great and sky lanterns returned.

(No Truro MA) – Sunday was a wash out with rain all day.  Tom’s ability to forecast the weather was, well words can not describe it.  Kristin, Jim, Ella and Kenzie arrived around 3 PM having driven up in most of the rain from NY.  Ella tried to go in the water but the waves were fairly large.   Peg’s blueberry surprise sauce for the pork was very good!

(North Truro, MA) – The mid-point of the vacation had its usual chaos.  Saturday mean Kris and Jim had to transfer their stuff from #14 to #9 for a few days.  the spotty internet service seemed to settle down some in the morning.   The morning was a mix of things for everyone with some shopping by Ginny, Keri and Kris in Ptown while John and Peg went for another motorcyle ride.  Jeremy found his lost wallet (Alex had it) while Jen’s laptop screen was not working from the night before when she called Dell tech support, who made it worse.

Lunch was a mix of leftovers for everyone, while Jim headed back home to work in the afternoon.  the late afternoon brought “Beach Olympics’.   The weather judge rated the day a 9.0 due to the heat.

Great Weather Returns to PBV

(North Truro, MA) – The sun came back and the weather was great.  Just nice and warm, with little sun.  The group did a little bit of everything today.  Jet ski, fishing (3 Blues for Tom, Cindy and John), there was clamming at mid-day.  24 clams in all was the take.  Tom tried his sailing on the kayak.  Jen and Matt and Jeremy did some light shopping in town.  Everyone just had a fun time hanging in the pod.  Rich returned to New City.   Sunburns returned.

Dinner was pork and chowder and stuffed clams by Peg and John.  After dinner Bill built a campfire on the beach and the kids toasted Smores.
